Thatched cottage in Wroxton which had an open fire which had not been used for 10yrs, once all nesting material was removed from chimney, fire Insert & all rubble removed & new concrete board insert installed on new cement hearth. Recess painted black with new Charnwood Country 4 Stove & liner installed, liner is backfilled in the chimney to help with heat retention from the thatched roof, this installation was done sympathetically to not look out of place with the cottage style being over 400 yrs old & keeping the original features as much as possible.
